This includes patients who achieved complete remission (28 out of 54) and patients who achieved complete remission with incomplete hematologic recovery (7 out of 54).
Complete remission: disappearance of all signs of cancer and blood counts are within normal range. This does not always mean the cancer has been cured.
Complete remission with incomplete hematologic recovery: signs of cancer have disappeared, but some blood counts are not yet back within normal ranges.
TECARTUS® can help you achieve remission
in less than 2 months after treatment
TECARTUS was studied in 54 adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who had experienced other treatment failures. About half of patients who achieved remission did so in less than two months after treatment (range 25 to 86 days). Patients were followed for a median of 12 months after receiving TECARTUS to gather these results.
TECARTUS is a single infusion that puts millions of cancer-fighting CAR T-cells into your body
HOW TECARTUS WORKS
It starts with your own T cells
Your immune system has different types of white blood cells, all working together to keep you healthy. One type of white blood cell, called the T cell, has the very important job of finding and destroying things that can harm your body, like infection or cancer. In some cases, however, your T cells aren't able to recognize cancer cells.
TECARTUS helps your T cells do the job they were meant to do
The TECARTUS treatment process takes your own T cells and modifies them with a special connector called a chimeric antigen receptor, or CAR. With just one TECARTUS infusion, millions of CAR T cells are put into your body, giving it a better ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells.
